Your Story Matters
I believe each of us has a story worth telling, and I want therapy to be a space where you can not only share your story, but reshape it into something that feels compelling, dignifying, and true.
My work is primarily grounded in Narrative Therapy, which is based on the idea that the stories we tell ourselves are shaped by dominant cultural ideas—and that any single story is only one of many possible truths about our lives. By uncovering overlooked parts of your story, especially those rooted in values and hard-earned wisdom, we can create greater meaning and a deeper sense of authorship over your life.
Together, we will explore and challenge societal assumptions that may be keeping you from living in alignment with your values and potential. I aim to treat you as the expert of your own life and to foster a therapy process that feels empowering and collaborative.
As both an artist and a therapist, I strive to create an experience that is creative, engaging, and relational—one that not only addresses challenges, but also highlights strengths, honors dreams, and supports you in moving toward them. I value the power of expressive arts and invite you to use any creative medium that helps communicate what words alone cannot.
I also believe in holding space for difficulty and darkness, and in approaching hard conversations without judgment or fear. Ultimately, my hope is that therapy feels like something we create together, and that you leave feeling more connected to your capacity to live fully and authentically.
Services
Individual Therapy
Therapy that is one-on-one. This is a space to explore your values and what kind of life you hope to create for yourself. We can spend time looking at your inner world, and the important experiences that have shaped your path.
Couples Therapy
Some challenges are better tackled together. Many times, our closest and most special relationships can also bring up emotions and experiences that are very intense and difficult. While these can be worked on individually, often they are more directly looked at when we can all be together and find common ground against the problems.
Couple therapy is traditionally done with romantic partners, but this can also be done between friends or any other close connection.
Any of the above services can be done in person or virtually.
Family Therapy
Family is something we all have, but many struggle with finding closeness and connection within it. It is my belief that by healing our familial relationships, we can create a foundation for lasting connections in all other parts of our lives.
Group Therapy
We are stronger together. Group therapy provides a unique opportunity to not only grow and learn from others, in addition to the therapist, but also to be an active participant in the growth and healing of others. It also provides an opportunity to create therapeutic experiences that are more accessible and affordable by sharing the cost among multiple people.
